Time for Wine is a division of 3D Wines Ltd.  Time for Wine operates a wine subscription service via this website, allowing users to purchase monthly wine subscriptions for the purpose of personal of gift use.  In addition to this, Time for Wine offers customers the opportunity to buy wine in addition to their subscription membership.

Age Restriction
By placing an order with Time for Wine, you are confirming that you are 18 or older.  It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, and Time for Wine has the right to cancel an order or delete an account if we suspect the account holder to be under age.  In the event that a subscription is purchased as a gift, the recipient will also need to be 18 years or older.

Upon delivery, our couriers may ask for proof of age in the form of appropriate ID.  Should they have any doubt of the age of the recipient or the authenticity of the ID, they will not be able to deliver.

Subscription Membership
Time for Wine offers two levels of subscription for its customers. Customers who choose to purchase a wine subscription membership can do so on a monthly basis. Membership to Time for Wine allows our customers access to exclusive discounts on products within our online wine shop as well as any offers directly relating to their subscription membership.  Membership may also include access to events such as wine tastings and tours.

Please be aware that the wines included in your subscription membership are pre-selected.  Unfortunately, if one of the wines in your subscription package simply does not suit your taste, it cannot be replaced for another wine unless there is a fault.  If you have a problem with the style of wines that have been purchased from our wine shop (where the volume is larger), we may be able to arrange replacements.  Please contact our team for further assistance.

Customers who subscribe on a rolling (monthly) basis will have their initial payment processed online via our secure payment system operated by Stripe.  Regular payments will then be processed each month on the anniversary of the customers’ original registration date. Payments will be processed via the debit/card that was used during the initial sign up.  Payments for gift subscriptions of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months will be taken in full at the time of purchase.

If we are not able to process payment for those customers on a monthly subscription plan, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the subscription and no further products will be sent.

Automatic Renewal
All subscriptions will automatically renew on a monthly basis – usually on the anniversary of the original sign up date. For example, if you subscribe on the 3rd of the month, all future subscription payments will be taken on the 3rd day of each month thereafter. If you wish to suspend or cancel your subscription, you can do so at any time by emailing info@timeforwine.co.uk or by calling 01205 820 745.

Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy
Should you wish to cancel your subscription and request a refund, you can do so by notifying us within 14 days of purchase (known as a cooling off period).  All refunds will be processed to the original payment card. Please be aware that, during this cooling off period, if you have received products from us as part of your subscription, they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged as soon as possible.  Goods must be returned to us at your own cost. Time for Wine will not refund any delivery charges incurred to you, the customer.  If the product/s are returned to us in an unacceptable condition, have been damaged or used then no refund will be processed.  Similarly, if goods are not returned to us, no refund will be processed.

If you cancel your subscription and have not received any products from Time for Wine, your refund will be processed in full within 14 days of the initial request.

Cancelling your subscription after the 14-day cooling off period will incur an admin fee of £5 which will be deducted from your final refund amount. If you have received any goods from Time for Wine during this period, they will need to be returned to us as stated above.

Customers who purchase a 1, 3, 6 or 12-month gift subscription will be entitled to a full refund for the selected period if they notify us within 14-days of the original purchase. If the recipient of the gift has already activated the subscription, this will subsequently be cancelled and no goods sent to the recipient. If goods have already been sent, they must be returned to us at the customer’s own cost. If this is not possible, or if the goods are damaged or have been consumed, an amount equal to the value of the gift subscription (plus delivery) will be deducted from the final refund.

Cancelling Wine Shop Orders
If you wish to cancel an order placed from our wine shop, you must do so within 24 hours.  This is because wine shop orders are processed for next working day dispatch.  You can inform us of your order cancellation via email or telephone 01205 820 745. Please be aware that any orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled during transit, any returns will need to be arranged and paid for by the customer. Once we have received the wines back in their entirety – and as long as no damage has been sustained – a refund will be processed within 14 days excluding the initial delivery costs.

Availability of Products
Time for Wine will always make every effort to ensure that subscriptions and/or orders from the wine shop can be fulfilled.  Nevertheless, there may be instances where we may not be able to provide a product due to temporary or permanent stock shortages. Time for Wine will always contact you, the customer, about stock issues if it effects one or more or your orders/subscriptions with us.  We will either offer a replacement product, advise you of when we expect stock to arrive should you wish to postpone your order, or offer a full refund (wine shop orders only).

We make every effort to ensure that the images of our wine bottles are kept up to date on the Time for Wine website.  Occasionally, there may be changes in label designs from our vineyards, and we aim to update images as soon as is possible.

Shipping and Delivery
We will endeavour to dispatch all orders as soon as possible.  Delivery of subscription boxes and orders from our wine shop will usually take between 1-3 working days to arrive from the time of an order being placed.

Orders received on a Friday or over the weekend and bank holidays will be processed and dispatched on the next available working day.

We do not currently offer a Saturday delivery option online.  However, if you require this type of delivery, please contact our team on 01205 820 745 or email info@timeforwine.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements and a delivery charge will apply.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are per bottle. The prices include UK duty and VAT, unless otherwise specified. Any delivery charges are additional, unless otherwise specified.

Although we make every effort to ensure that all pricing information on our wine shop is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and products may be incorrectly priced. In the event that a product you have ordered is listed at an incorrect price we will contact you by telephone or email before dispatching your products asking you to confirm if you still wish to proceed with your order at the correct price or cancel your order. If you do not confirm that you wish to proceed with the order within seven days of the date of our email, we will consider this as a withdrawal of your order.

We reserve the right to alter prices without notice in the event of currency fluctuations, changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes. We also reserve the right to terminate any special offer at any time, without notice.

Quality Guarantee
We are confident about the quality of our wines but we understand that from time to time there could be a technical problem (wine that is corked, oxidised or appears unsuitable in condition), or a wine may not suit your taste. There may also be an instance where there has been damage in transit and, as a result, breakages occur.  As part of our 100% quality guarantee, we will either replace your wine with a recommended alternative or we will offer a full refund.

The following conditions apply when booking an event with us:

The person who books the event via our website, telephone or email will be deemed to act as agent for all persons shown on the booking.

If you or any of your party have any special requirements, these must be made clear during the booking process.  Time for Wine will only be able to accommodate those requirements which we are made aware of.

Please be aware that travel insurance is not included in the price of our events. Members will need to make their own arrangements.

Should you wish to cancel your participation in an event you have booked, you must do so in writing (confirmation via email is accepted).  A cancellation fee will be made in accordance with the scale below:

  • More than 42 days before the event – 25% of the total event price
  • 15-42 days before the event – 50% of the total event price
  • Less than 15 days before the event – 100% of the total event price

In exceptional circumstances Time for Wine may have to cancel an event and we reserve the right to do so at our discretion.  In this situation, all members will receive a full refund.

Website and Social Media Competitions
From time to time, the Company may run competitions via our website or social media channels.  There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

Employees and their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

We reserve the right to cancel or amend a competition and any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.

No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value.

Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received.

The winner will be notified by private/direct message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram within 72 hours of being chosen. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation.
